Goal

The goal of this grant is to fund printing of restorative circle guideline posters to be printed for each classroom implementing restorative circles.

What will be done with my students

Students and teachers will create restorative circle guidelines that will need to be displayed in each classroom. Two posters are needed per classroom so all students can view the guidelines when they are in a circle.

Benefits to my students

Circles are used to create a space of equity, equality, safety, responsibility, trust, and connection building. By creating facilitated circles in the classroom students are given a voice to learn to solve problems and manage their own learning. Circles can be used to build content knowledge and solve problems related to content as well as to develop students social and emotional skills.
