Students will write convincing, well-organized opinion pieces after reading passages that allow them to analyze and compare. Students use the reproducible graphic organizers to outline and write their own persuasive letter, personal opinion essay or book review.
Students will develop their reading skills with ready-to-use learning centers that focuses on story elements, sequencing, theme, making inferences, character traits, and comparing and contrasting.
