Goal

Students will be able to self-regulate emotions by having access to a variety of social emotional learning materials.

What will be done with my students

Students will learn how to use social emotional materials instead of acting out.

Benefits to my students

Students will learn how to identify when they are struggling and ask for a break instead of acting out. This will benefit all students in my classroom as I will need to spend less time deescalating behaviors. Since students are in Kindergarten, learning this skill now will help them as they transition into higher grades.
