Goal

My goal is to enhance our ceramics/clay unit by having a slab roller available for student use.

What will be done with my students

I typically send between two and three months on our ceramics unit. A slab roller will help students have even slabs to work with when handbuilding. It will help us add extra slab projects to our ceramics unit that would not be possible otherwise, such as geometrical artworks.

Benefits to my students

My students will be able to make slab projects in a quicker, more efficient manner.

Describe the Students

My students range from gifted, high performing and ESE.

Budget Narrative

$830 will go towards purchasing a Bailey table slab roller for Tarpon Springs Fundamental Elementary School as an aide to the Pinellas School curriculum ceramics unit.
