Goal

The goal of this project is to help children better understand how plants grow under different climate conditions.

What will be done with my students

Students will learn how to plant using the appropriate soil and amount of water. Students will observe several types of plants to see if the amount of sunlight affects their growth.

Benefits to my students

I have observed that many of our students struggle with understanding the scientific method. This hands on approach to learning about the scientific method will ensure maximum student engagement.

Describe the Students

My students are mostly low performing students. Many of my students come from low-income families and have limited exposure to these experiences.

Budget Narrative

$120 will ensure that each pair of students has a perennial and annual plant to observe during our investigation.

Items

# Item Cost
