Goal

To have the basic computer tools that will allow my students to be successful when using computers in the classroom. 

 

What will be done with my students

My computer lab is getting a little old but we have maintained the equipment but the mice are failing. During Covid, we wiped the mice daily with cleaning products that damaged all of our units. Additionally, each student really needs a mouse pad to operate at peek performance. Our desk tops make the mice skippy and hard to use. 

 

Benefits to my students

Having a new class set of mice and mouse pads will eliminate the frustration students are having with are old and decrepid mice. My students get frustrated very easily and having a new class set of mice and pads will make their work easier and smoother. 

 

Describe the Students

91%+ of my students are on free or reduced lunch. They come from families that stuggle with rising housing and food costs. Many of my students are second language learners and or have learning disabilities. So many of my students are facing metal health challenges which tax them everyday at school. They are eager to learn but trnd to give up easily they lack the financial backing to purchace their own equipment for the classroom.
 

 

Budget Narrative

$445.00 will allow me to provide my students with 40 Rechargeable Computer Wireless Mice and 40 mouse pads. The rechargeable mice are more enviromentally friendly.
