Goal

The goal is to reach beyond the classroom and school libraries. By providing students them with books that they can and want to read. Access to newer materials in a different format to inspire all readers even the reluctant reader.  

 

What will be done with my students

During our Immediate Intensive Intervention students will have the opportunity to check out a tablet and enjoy a pleasure book downloaded onto the tablet of their choice.  

 

Benefits to my students

By exposing young children to new ways to enjoy reading in a modern an changing society the child not only will blossom but gain technological lifelong experiences that will increase his or her understanding of adaptability in our society.  

 

Budget Narrative

Emergent technologies implemented in the classroom will allow students to expand their level of understanding in ways they may never have outside the classroom walls. It is imperative that technology in as many format be introduce to students to enable and equip them to be productive citizens of tomorrow.
