$2000 towards a total goal of $10,800
Students in Lennard Agricultural mechanics classes, as well as Agritechnology will be working on their skills with Computer Aided Design (CAD) Software. One of the hottest ways for students to see the immediate impact of their work would be for them to be able to 3D print their files and designs once they have completed them. Giving students extremely valuable experience with several complicated manufacturing processes that will be able to assist in them finding and securing well paying careers in their futures.
Using the grant towards the purchase of the printer and materials to maximize the efficiency and ease of use for the students.
Students will upload their files and print their completed works. As they progress in their skills, they will be able to increase the difficulty of what they are working on. Students can use a variety of materials to create items. Once students become proficient in the design and operation of the 3D printers, they will then have valuable experience that is HIGHLY sought after across several industries.
