Project Goal

To increase students' confidence and ability To merge arts standards with other curricula To build connections and provide engaging context.

How Project Benefits Students

Participating in a community drum circle will teach my students the importance of teamwork, self‐expression, and communication while increasing their confidence and ability. This project will build connections to other curricula.

Expected Outcome(s)

100% of the students at our inner city school will successfully participate in 2 hands-on performances that will solidify the concepts studied prior to the events.
100% of the students will gain confidence and ability.
85% of student participants will make connections to other curricula.
