Goal

To create better ergonomics through visual and posture modification for each student's workstation in my classroom. 

 

What will be done with my students

Monitor mounts are needed for each workstation, so students are not looking down at their monitors. I will demonstrate and teach proper ergonomics for school and while in the workplace. They will also be instrumental in maintaining the equipment in the classroom. 

 

Benefits to my students

This is important for students to understand the proper ergonomic preparation and execution within their workstation so they can work effectively and efficiently while reducing strain on their eyes and posture. This also effects other parts in the body as well. In addition, this will open up the desk more so they can utilize other educational supplements like books, keyboards, etc. 

 

Describe the Students

My class is a requirement for all students to take when entering high school. There are a mix of students in my class since it is a requirement, i.e. IEP, ESE, 504, etc. I see over 150 students per day. 

 

Budget Narrative

These items are extremely necessary to support our students learning. Ergonomics is an important concept to understand so our students can gain this knowledge to implement the rest of their lives. I strongly believe our students will benefit greatly by the addition of this equipment to my classroom.
