Goal
I am the new art teacher at Bloomingdale Senior High School. I am very fortunate to teach some amazing and talented students. The Art Room sits back in a very empty hallway. The walls are blank. I would like to purchase a display case to promote their talent and the art program.
What will be done with my students
Students need to be recognized for the talents they have as well as the talents they are learning and recognizing! I think it is vitally important that we promote that work and recognize their efforts on all levels. Being able to display the work outside the classroom would be an awesome opportunity to make students feel successful!
Benefits to my students
By promoting students work it could build the Art program at Bloomingdale and gives the students a voice. Often art kids are more reserved and this may be a way to show them they are important without pushing them into the limelight!
