Goal
The goal of this project is to make a wellness/social emotional learning environment in our guidance suite.
What will be done with my students
The project will benefit all of our students who need extra emotional support. Many of our students have experienced trauma and have many barriers to a positive learning environment. We have a room in our guidance suite that we would like to transform into a location that students can use for therapy, to calm down and get emotional centered. Our hope with this project is to help students when they are emotional unable to learn so they are able to get back to class and to learning. Our school has worked very hard the past few years to bring our school grade up to a C. We feel that this space can make our school even better.
Benefits to my students
The expected outcome is that our student services team can use this space to help children with their emotions and trauma so they are able to learn. The space will be utilized by all grades and children who are need of extra support.

All of the items will be used for students that come to student services for emotional/behavioral support.
