Goal

I would like to pull in some more funds to refresh my library with appropriate group sets of classical but understandable and relatable literature.

What will be done with my students

Students who join breakfast and book read one selection per month and then travel to Naples to sit with a mentor in a book club setting. The girls then have a chance to work on their verbal communication and eye contact skills individually with mentors they are matched with based on personality and common interest.

Benefits to my students

This program helps our girls build proper communication skills while improving their self esteem. All of our mentors are professional community members who work well with the students in helping them to grow and develop.

Budget Narrative

Flowers for Algernon cost approximately $10.08 each and I will need at least 15 copies. The Crucible cost approximately $8.71 each and again I will need at least 15 copies.
