Goal

Each year my level IV students come up with a final project to work on. This year they want to design, build and construct a driving simulator. (Previous years: full-size arcade, virtual pinball, desktop arcade, portable arcade)

What will be done with my students

This project is a great way to learn real -world skills and to create a something that will last for years and students get a great sense of pride in their work.
Starting with drawings to a completed project takes time, energy and money. Students realize that almost anything is possible.
Start project in January (Semester 2)
Drawings and design ideas submitted by Early February
Students choose best idea and start computer generated drawings to size and scale. (Due by Beginning of March)
Construction of the Simulator to start Mid-March and conclude with completed project Early May. This includes Construction, Painting, Vinyl Graphics and Testing.
Many students loves gaming and what better way to enjoy their passion, then to build it themselves.
