I went to an amazing conference earlier this year, and learned how to create a MakerSpace for my students. This is an awesome way to use S.T.E.A.M. with my students. I am hoping to be able to use these materials next school year.

Goal

I went to an amazing conference earlier this year, and learned how to create a MakerSpace for my students. This is an awesome way to use S.T.E.A.M. with my students. I am hoping to be able to use these materials next school year.

What will be done with my students

Students will have an area to create and engineer in the morning before the bell rings. They will also get to use this area weekly as a center rotation. They will have task cards to complete, and must document their completion of task cards using technology.

Benefits to my students

My students need cross-curricular ways to unleash their creativity, while also adhering to standards in Science, Math, ELA, and most importantly SEL!
